We love the deep red color extracted from this plant, which is an indicator of high levels of Hypercin- the main medicinal compound found in St. John's Wort. Used topically, this oil is wonderful for soothing joint, muscle and nerve pain. It is also known to ease the pain of sunburn, burns, shingles, scrapes and bruises.
Some of our personal favorite uses are massaging into sore muscles; before-bed foot massages to help promote deep sleep; and as a staple in our skincare routine as a nourishing moisturizer.
