Soothing for Burns, Cuts, Scrapes, Sunburn, Dry Skin & more! Calendula is known to contain flavonoids and carotenoids, which possess anti-inflammatory properties. This makes it effective in soothing irritated, red, and swollen skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and diaper rash.

Calendula oil is known to promote skin regeneration and cell turnover, aiding in the healing of cuts, scrapes, and other wounds. It is rich in fatty acids, which help hydrate and nourish the skin, making it suitable for dry and sensitive skin types. The antioxidants in calendula oil are said to protect the skin from free radical damage, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Personally, I combine this Calendula Oil with our Organic St. John’s Wort oil & Organic Rose Water for a healing daily facial moisturizing routine. Calendula is known to be a Lymph-Mover, so I also use it for Lymph Massage, particularly on the neck and around the ears to promote drainage of Lymph Fluid from the sinuses, ears and throat. We also use it in our family for any type of cut, scrape, rash, burn, sunburn, bug bite or scar.
